This presentation is too much of a human-interest story, and lacks the backing of robust economics. What even was that talk about how the son had some issues with the school? What does it have to do with how specifically suburbs are failing to work as places to live? It's really quite simple - two words: population density. When you build a city outward, all the infrastructure becomes more expensive. You have to build all the pipes, phone and electric lines, etc. for miles. But at the same time, not that many people live in the suburbs: Big houses, big yards, and roads crisscrossing back and forth, but very few people. So the costs to maintain suburbia are high, while there are few people paying for that maintenance. That's a massive imbalance. Inner cities are the opposite. Houses are tall, many people live in a small area, and it's cheap to connect these buildings to the city infrastructure network. This causes a wealth transfer from inner cities to suburbs. Those who live in the city center are paying for the infrastructure in the suburbs. Inner-city dwellers pay more in taxes than are needed to maintain their buildings. Suburbia costs more to maintain than suburbanites pay in taxes. So the city takes the extra taxes paid by inner cities and use it to maintain suburban neighbourhoods. Then of course there's much to say about American car-centric culture, how the oil and car lobby influenced the building of suburbs, how Americans spend a huge amount of time in cars travelling to suburbia, how it's terrible for the environment, how the US lacks proper public transport to suburban neighbourhoods, how suburbs are psychologically draining and not that great places to live at all, etc. But those are topics for another day.

I knew trump was evil back in the 1980s when he declared bankruptcy the first time and continued to be driven around in his limo. The model Christian gentleman is the Good Samaritan: productive and therefore a man of means; a man who can interrupt his plans for a worthy cause; a man so good with animals they stay with him and rise to the occasions he calls them to; a man physically strong enough to pick up another man and thus likely deter the criminal by his bearing; a man who understands his limits and is aware that others have helpful gifts and tools that contribute to a team effort; a man good at time management who returns to his plan after the interruption; and a man concerned with seeing to it that those he conducts commerce with are left whole.
